Erysimum amoenum is an alpine species which originates at high altitudes (3-4,000m) in the Rocky Mountains of North America. It has tufts of narrow, dusky green leaves and short racemes of lavender to violet flowers. It is attractive, but demanding to grow and is generally available only through specialist alpine seed outlets. |
