'Goldstaub' is an attractive, but short-lived variety which may be perennial only in mild areas/winters. It has a compact habit with dense, evergreen foliage of dark green, unserrated leaves. The flower spikes are held well above the foliage. The flowers, from early spring, are a bright, golden yellow and have a strong, spicy scent. Height = 25cm. Spread = 20cm. Not widely available. |
