'Pastel Patchwork' is a modern cultivar whose name suits it very well. It has masses of flowers in pastel shades of pinks, muted golds and apricots. It makes a wonderful display, unique amongst erysimums. However, it can grow very rapidly and develop a lax, sprawling habit unless clipped back rigorously after flowering. If clipped back, it will also flower well in the autumn. In our garden Pastel Patchwork is perennial, but short-lived. Height = xxcm. Spread = yycm. |
